So, then, I've finally given in to it. I'm now officially a blogger. Why? A very good question.
I suppose the answer lies in the very subject of this blog: mobile entertainment. Sure, we can all send our photos to each other and titilate ourselves for a while on a quick game of golf or tetris, but what else can we do with our little flashing, bleeping things?
Well, quite a lot as it happens. Let's start with search. Last year, everybody thought mobile search was officially "the next big thing." And - guess what - it wasn't. In fact, the majority of search words (so my nerdy friends tell me) that were recorded on mobile related - weirdly - to search. We are strange creatures indeed.
And then there's mobile TV. Am I really going to sit and watch a film on a screen that's that tiny? No! I'll tell you what I'm going to do with my phone... (No, that that.) I'm going to use it to communicate with people, and to say something about my identity (yes - I'm noisy, easily broken, and usually annoying.
So, then, what is out there? What can I do with my phone? Can I, perhaps, meet somebody interesting? Use my my email? What? What? Keep tuned, if you can stay awake, that is...
